Die Jury hat entschieden. Das Projekt, das auch mein Favorit war, hat tatsächlich den Prix Europa 2011 Kategorie Online gewonnen: Nowhere Safe – oder im Original “A l’abri de rien“.
Die Begründung der Jury: “This is a project with outstanding content. It’s like a radio 2.0 mix of audio and pictures that is more real than video. The project doesn’t just tell the story of the people but also keeps their dignity intact. It upholds social values as well as high production standards.
The web documentary that tells the stories of men and women in France who are living in precarious conditions due to poor housing. The stories are told through portrait photography and intimate interviews. Each voice is set in the context of research figures on the millions of French people who suffer as a result of housing issues.”
Die spezielle Erwähnung der Jury ging an “Memory Loops“. Auch das eine verdiente Auszeichnung.
Und die weiteren drei Projekte in der Endausscheidung waren:

SF DOK 360° Langstrasse Zurich (Herzlichen Glückwunsch!)
Wenn ich mit meiner Favoritenliste vergleiche, habens vier von fünf geschafft. Keine schlechte Quote.
